Let’s Clear the Air (Classes 6 to 8)

Students from classes VI to VIII worked with their teachers and ‘atithis’ to identify and understand how air-detox plants help clean the air and interacted with atithi from TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) to understand the principles and the workings of an AQI (Air Quality Index) machine with them.

 

Enthusiastically, they raised funds and conducted an ‘air-detox collection drive’ to create ‘Nirmalsthals’ (Clear and gentle spaces) in an orphanage by using these funds to buy more plants. They also helped their younger friends meet the ‘The Challenge of One Thousand Trees’ by planting trees ( with help from MCD) around the school.
